About your SEAT

SEAT, Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo, is a Spanish automotive manufacturer with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1950. Originally established as a state-owned company under the guidance of the Spanish government and the influence of FIAT, SEAT quickly became a significant player in the European automobile industry. In its early years, SEAT produced models like the SEAT 1400, based on Fiat designs, which gained popularity in Spain and other European markets. In 1986 SEAT was sold to the Volkswagen Group and remains a subsidiary of the group.

Over the years, SEAT has evolved and expanded its line up and in the 1980s and 1990s they gained recognition for their sporty models, like the SEAT Ibiza, Leon and SEAT Toledo, which captured the essence of the era’s automotive enthusiasm. In 1996 SEAT brought out the SEAT Ibiza GTI Cupra Sport and in 2000 the SEAT LEON Cupra 4 and has rapidly gained recognition for its sportier and high performance-oriented vehicles. In 2018 Cupra was established as a separate brand by the Volkswagen Group.

In recent years, SEAT has continued to innovate and adapt to changing consumer preferences. They have embraced electric and hybrid technologies with models like the SEAT Leon e-Hybrid and SEAT Mii electric, reflecting their commitment to sustainability. Additionally, the introduction of the SEAT Tarraco, Ateca and Arona in the SUV segment has expanded their offerings to cater to a broader audience. SEAT’s blend of style, performance, and environmental consciousness continues to make them a prominent player in the automotive industry, with a promising future ahead.

Whether it’s a company car, a family runner or a 4×4 SUV, SEAT cars are everywhere, so it’s only right that we provide the very best plan. Get the UK’s best extended car warranty and complete peace of mind with a SEAT Used Car Warranty.
